Beautiful Boy (I hate this week.)

At 4p.m. today, Scamper was put to sleep. He was just too ill to go on, and it was time. That still doesn't make it hurt any less. It had been coming for awhile, but this week was a rapid deterioration, and my sister made this decision yesterday. I'm just glad I got to see him one last time, and that I got to be there to keep him calm as he was

he was initially my christmas present when i was six, but he ended up more as my sisters cat. up until i moved out two years ago, i was very close with him, and i like to think i still was, even though i didn't live there anymore.

when i got to my moms sunday night, he hadn't purred in a week because it was too painful. upon seeing me, he purred so loud that i could hear him across the room. that made me feel good.

i just wish i could figure out how to make pictures appear in my entries. i don't know why this one won't show up.

Try using Photobucket.. it is so easy for inserting pictures on journals, myspace, etc.
