Television rots your brain
I'm lolling miserably on the couch due to some late summer flu thing. Flipping channels. I come to Good Morning America (whatever show has Kathie Lee Gifford) and Jenny McCarthy steps on set. Apparently she is on the cover of "i lost all the weight" magazine. Here's the dialogue, and I'm appalled:
Hoda: Oh! You're so skinny!
Jenny: Normal...for LA. I'm 5'6" and 125lbs.
Hoda: I'm 5'9", 145.
Jenny: (condescendingly) That's great!
Um, what?
And on the topic of "people admitting bad habits"
Hoda: 1 in 5 people admit to only showering every second day.
Kathie: (makes a nasty face) I'm sure I don't know people like that!
Hoda: (babbles something about Europeans bathing habits)
