I'm giving myself a deadline to finish TAINTED FROST. I'm so close to finishing, but self-doubt is slowing me down considerably. I'm hoping this deadline will give me a huge nudge to just get it over with, especially since I plan on revising it anyway. Good luck with meeting that deadline! I think deadlines are so useful for writers, whether under contract or not. That's not to say that I ever stick to the deadlines I set myself, because I usually don't due to the many other distractions in my life, but at least it gives me something to aim for and I think that's the key. Thanks! I might actually miss the deadline by a few days, but it has made me write faster than I have in a long time. I wrote over a thousand words yesterday in a spurt of energy. It was awesome :)
