Shower power
I get some of my best ideas when I'm walking my dog...or when I'm taking a shower. Isn't that weird? I mean, the shower? Really? Today, while showering, I actually had an epiphany for my current WIP. I was so excited that as soon as I got out of the shower, I made a beeline for my laptop so I could write it all down.
This wasn't the first time I had a great idea in the shower. I really wish they had waterproof laptops or writing pads or something, because I imagine I'd get a lot of work done while shampooing.
But, seriously, what is it about the shower? Because I've heard of some other writers who get great ideas in the shower. Maybe while we're washing the dirt and oil out of our hair, we open up some room for thought. Hee hee.
