Sims Meme Also Known As I Am Bored
How did I not know of this? Gosh, I am so late to parties. Granted I have been gone for a relatively long amount of time but I'd still like to think I'm slightly in the Sims loop? Except, you know, not at all.
Q: How long does your game take to load?
A: Between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on if I've just gone on a mad downloading spree before loading it up. Which is half the time. *cough*
Q: When making a Sim, what do you prefer: adult male, adult female, teen male, teen female?
A: I actually make adult female sims ALL the time. Like it's all I ever make. I feel bad for the poor menfolk, but I'm much better at women because I am one, kind of like how I am with drawing people. All of my guys look effeminate. When I was younger and first getting into custom content I made all teen female sims because they could be all ~fashionable~ or whatever the crap. Like I was ever fashionable then, or am now. xD
Q: How long does your Body Shop take to open?
A: I'm too stupid/lacking in the know-how of starting it using only the base game, so it takes a pretty ridiculous amount of time. Depending on if I'm doing things in the background (read: Google Chrome, takin' up all my memory *shakes fist* ), it can take up to 20 minutes.
Q: Do you make more Sims in CAS or in Body Shop?
A: Bodyshop, since there are more sliders. CAS just feels so limited. >.<
Q: What's your favorite hair color to put on your Sims?
A: GINGER. I love me some gingers. Beyond that, I actually tend to make a lot of black-haired Sims. Couldn't really tell you why.
Q: How many babies have your Sims ever had from one set of parents?
A: I think I only ever got up to 6. I was going to go for 10 one time but that dream failed very hard VERY fast.
Q: How often do you experience a glitch?
A: I actually haven't had any major glitches since installing on my laptop. I think I might've gotten some wonky hair graphics due to my computer being on too long and high polycounts, at one time or another, but it's really not that often.
Q: Do you make your Sims straight/gay/bi/lesbian very often?
A: I let my Sims roll whichever way they'd like. I basically just chuck 'em out in the world, do a few "Scope Room"s, and let the magic commence. :P I really don't choose for them. For a while there I did have a surprising number of lesbians, though.
Q: Does your neighborhood have a theme?
A: Nope. xD Just a nice little neighborhood where nothing ever really happens. A bit like an utopia. Lame, right?
Q: How many downloads do you have in your game?
A: 2.47 GB. Holy bajingo, that is a lot more than I thought I had. I was assuming it was around 1.5 gigs. xD
Q: Who is your favorite Body Shop CC creator (meaning skins, eyes, hair, makeup, etc.)?
A: Simgaroop. Need Maxis Match hair? You go to her. OωOb *is blindly assuming it's a she*
Q: Who is your favorite CC creator for build and buy?
A: Err... I actually use pretty much all already in-game content. Is that weird? I have all EPs and SPs so I'm pretty much set for build and buy mode stuff. o3o

A: I've been trying to play more often. Recently it's been every other dayish, although I've been collecting defaults so that's slowed recently. Nearly finished, though!
Q: Do you watch Sims machinima?
A: I watched some lodelday way back when, but I haven't seen much recently, no. Really surprised I remember her username, actually.
Q: Do you read stories/comics made with the Sims?
A: I read legacies rather often, does that count? I skim ones that I haven't read before and then go back if I like them well enough. So lots of skimming, mostly.
Q: What expansion packs do you have?
A: I think this was already well-explained. *nods*
Q: What are you views on building and decorating?
A: I used to be clutter crazed, but recently not so much. Now I like nice, homey lots that are sort of kitschy. I like homes that have a comfortable, cozy feel. :3 My building skills are kind of nonexistent but I can make a nice little cottage every now and again. And my decorating is a fail half the time but I'd like to think I occasionally excel at it when I'm in a good mood and/or feeling creative.
Q: What is some body shop CC that you tend to over use?
A: FRECKLES. I love freckles. Practically every sim that I've made has some freckles on them, even if they're tiny almost non-existent ones. Even if they're Asian, goddamn it.
Q: How often do you need to use "Familyfunds"?
A: Never. Sometimes I forget it's even an option. xD I don't like to cheat and therefore do not! ^-^ I've had Sims build their way to the top on literally 0 simoleans. *cougholdlegacyfoundercough* It's really not very hard at all, and the challenge makes it all the more fun.
Q: Do you like doll Sims?
A: They make me feel kinda squick. I'm not in favour of them but I don't violently oppose them either. To each his own.
Q: Have you ever killed your Sim(s) for the fun of it?
A: Oh god, my childhood. xD When I was younger and played the original Sims with my sister and our friend Megan, we always used to stick all of the neighbors (You know, that one chick with the awful beehive? Yeah.) in a room in the middle of the road completely filled with combustibles like armchairs and wooden things. Then we would have another Sim walk in, set off a rocket, and leave, deleting the door behind them. Oh, we would laugh and laugh as each one of them screamed in mercy, sealed to a fiery fate. Those were good times. Good times.

A: I'm 17, nearly 18 in about two weeks! I started playing Sims 2 really when it first came out, whenever that was, but I played the original Sims years before then, I think when I was maybe 9 or 10. I'd say I probably started playing at least 7 or 8 years ago, maybe more. *shrugs*
Q: Do you ever base a Sims family after your own home life?
A: I once made a family based on my own, but it ended badly and they were actually really boring to play. I have a selfsim but haven't yet released her into the wild because I'm not QUITE satisfied with her yet.
