Lord, You are my Joy! (Phillipians 1&2)
God is amazing. Life is great, & God is better. Man ... Today was horrid, but then tonight rounded it up to nothing but good things. God sure knows how to make me feel better! :)
I went & hung out w/ "The Girls" (my girls Leanne, Whitney, Renea, Lyndsey K. & Shannon, Rachel, Devorah, Laura, & Miriam) @ Kaldi's @ 9, but not before going over a Geology review for my Geology lab final tomorrow (ugh)! But ... who knew that a review for a final exam could be GOOD? & FUN? Hmm ... God is good. Anyway, after that, I got w/ them, & we all got into discussions about how our selfishness & how we need to step it up as Christian women & stop being so worried about what people will think of us. Then, I was accompanied by Whitney/Devorah/Laura to the fountain, to pray for about an hr about the revival on campus (I usually pray by myself, so it was fun & good & I think def. necessary!). It was a good time, as well. We poured our <3's out to God about this campus, & this world, & agreed in prayer about certain things going on w/ the world & w/ SHSU right now. God is just good ... & I thank Him for being so wonderful. I thank Him, also, for bringing me to these girls who agree w/ me on these things, & that I can confide in & love & fully give my heart to. Thank you, my Sisters in Christ, for being so beautiful in the Lord & for building me up! :) I love you Gals!
Lord, it is time to step out of our comfort zones & make this campus a campus for You alone ... Please, abide w/ us as we do so. Protect us from the lieing enemy, Satan.
