last night was CRAZY!!
Last night, Chris & I went to a bday party for my friend/suitemate @ school Shantia (she lives in Katy, Tx, about 2 hrs from Huntsville & on the South side of Houston). The moment we got there, everything was a bit awkward already, but it escalated, majorly! It was like David walking into the lions pen, seriously. Anyway, read this below, & be amazed!:
Maggie4Chr1st: man last night was crazy

Maggie4Chr1st: when we got there, we did start to feel awkward b/c everyone was muslim/persian, & they were playing iranian music
Maggie4Chr1st: but what made it crazy was when we sat down, & they started dancing to this music ... the lights were off
Maggie4Chr1st: & my heart started to get heavy ...
Maggie4Chr1st: *we went to shantia's bday party in katy
Maggie4Chr1st: & by heavy, i don't mean the heavy feeling you get when the holy spirit is upon you (that feeling is like ... light, & it feels good)
Maggie4Chr1st: i mean the feeling of the devil, of evil ya know
Maggie4Chr1st: & i asked Chris if he was feeling it too, & he said yes
Maggie4Chr1st: it got REALLY bad, like i was feeling as though it was tugging on me
Maggie4Chr1st: & so we went upstairs to call our small group leaders (i called beth & she didn't answer, so i called arley) to see what we should do
Maggie4Chr1st: both said we should pray & leave
Maggie4Chr1st: God has given me the gift of compassion & discernment (i guess you could say that it is discernment), & so i can feel the way others are feeling, & i can feel like ... when something is "wrong," when there is evil ya know
Maggie4Chr1st: & like ... so i was afraid to pray, but that was just the devil trying to discourage me
Maggie4Chr1st: so we started to pray (we were in shantia's room lol & i was so scared that someone would walk in)
Maggie4Chr1st: & i started feeling the devil tugging on me TO THE EXTREME, like he was actually TOUCHING me ... i had this sick physical feeling all over me
Maggie4Chr1st: & like .... as we prayed, i said "i rebuke the evil & the sin from this house, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ" & i had been scared to say that for "the devil might attack me"
Maggie4Chr1st: well of course i was thinking that! the devil didn't want me to rebuke him .... HE WANTS to live in us ya know
Maggie4Chr1st: or, in people ... not me & Chris, he wasn't in
Maggie4Chr1st: but he was trying to break me ya know, as i rebuked him & as i prayed to God to remove him from the house
Maggie4Chr1st: & like .... i started to feel the holy spirit come upon me ... pretty soon, it outweighed the bad/physically-sick feeling i was getting from feeling the devil ya know
Maggie4Chr1st: so anyway, it was not a good feeling/vibe that i got from those people .... & you know when you are saved, & like i said God has given me the gift of compassion & discernment, you can tell if someone has the "light" in their eyes, ya know
Maggie4Chr1st: well ... these people had blank eyes, like ... dark eyes
Maggie4Chr1st: & also, both Chris & i know that this was a test from God towards me ... b/c 1.) WHILE Chris was getting me a drink of water, some guy came up & asked me if i wanted anything to drink, "whiskey, beer, etc" & i said "no i am just gonna have water" but .... inside my head, my FLESH was thinking "yes! i'll have some whiskey, that sounds good" but my spirit/God said "no" ... i think that if Chris weren't there, i would have gotten drunk, definitely .. it was like my past all over again, & God was testing me ... & i passed
Maggie4Chr1st: 2.) i asked Chris if i could take my jacket off b/c it was super hot in the house (i had on a spaghetti-strap tank top underneath) ... i asked him if it was "appropriate" ya know, & he said "he didn't know" ya know ... & RIGHT AFTER that, i mean like not even 5 seconds LITERALLY, shantia came up & asked if she could take my jacket ... you know, shantia is a great person, i love her to death, but the devil works through people
Maggie4Chr1st: OH! & while we were praying, the music was TURNED UP, right, like the devil was trying to block us out or something ... our prayers .... AND someone literally started whistling & SCREAMING ... chris & arley (when i told her later) both said that it sounds like if there were spirits in those people, they were trying to come out, or trying to fight the presence of God upon them from our prayer that we prayed
Maggie4Chr1st: & it's just so crazy .... i asked myself "why did you want me to go there, God?" & i think it was for several reasons: 1.) to test me, to show me my past & see if i could avoid doing something from my past ya know? 2.) to pray for those people, to see what kind of people shantia associates w/ & to pray for them
