(no subject)
Man God is so good! :) I got up to go to church w/ the Wesley Foundation @ 1st United Methodist, & my car wouldn't start! I don't know why it wouldn't, & this isn't the first time it's done this! My car is a '95, so of course it's gonna have its little glitches. But overall, it runs pretty good! :) Esp. for a standard ... They def. last longer!
Anyway, after church, I decided to try & pray over the car first, & if that didn't work (which I had my doubts of course, but my equal portion of faith that it would start - In the name of Jesus!), then I was gonna get my dad to come up & help me figure out what was wrong & go get some parts. I was freaking out of course, b/c I worry like mad about EVERY THING! Anyway, so ... After church, me & my friends J.G, Rachel, & Devorah went & prayed over my car, & guess what happened?! It started! Wowsers. This is the 2ND TIME that God's done this, seriously! He started my friend Arley's car like @ the beginning of this mth, when we were coming back from "Salt" (see: Previous journal entry, about "salt" trip)! So GOd is great. & I am so unappreciate. You guys ... pray for me that I don't get into the habit of accepting everything God is giving me w/o giving back to Him 100%! :)
So ... "the gals" who are g2g to the dance w/ me this Friday (Mallory, Leanne, Lauren, & Rachel) & I all got together/tried on our dresses/showed off/etc. :) It's awesome! I am so excited. They all go to Chi Alpha & the Wesley Foundation w/ me, so ... it's a great thing. They are people that I can actually hang out w/ & not feel awkward. Heh ... ANYway! I am a bit worried, b/c I don't want to think of this thing w/ Chris as a date, & I am beginning to. I am getting more attached than I need (or want) to, & it's not good. Yes, yes, I want to focus on God, so PRAY FOR ME! Please. I need it. THanks mucho!
