Fun & fountain
So i got asked to the Band Banquet here @ SHSU. I'm gonna come home tomorrow & get dresses from my house tomorrow. It's on such short notice, ya know? But I am excited. I am 21, & even though I go to college, I didn't think I'd be going to a dance ever again. But ... I'm nervous though, for 2 reasons:
1.) the guy (his name is Chris; goes to the Wesley Foundation & Chi Alpha; he's a new man of Christ) is like 3 inches shorter than me lol
2.) i don't want a relationship right now & he knows it, yet i think that he is pushing things
But on the short matter (lol), i don't think it should matter about height ... about anything as far as looks go. I've learned a lot!! I guess now I look at people from the inside, instead of the out.
The dresses up for candiacy (spelling?) for the Banquet are as follows:
1.) this purple/dark lavender & black, thin, dress that I wore to the Ballet during Dec 2003. It's low-cut in the front, & has thick straps. On the side, it has a black flower w/ thin ribbon coming out of it & streaming down, & it has a slit up the side.
2.) my maroon dress I wore to my ex-bf's prom in May 2003. It's more like cranberry-red, & it is strapless, w/ a criss-cross open pattern in the back. It has diamond studs in a straight line across the very top in the front, & it's a ball gown.
Anyway, it's gonna be fun! Yay! :) I don't want a relationship right now, & neither does Chris, sooo I hope that he won't make something out of this, ya know?
P.S. A revival is going on today, from 12 - 5 @ the fountain! Woohoo ... God just keeps on truckin on!!
