(no subject)
In light of recent events...
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by power of the Holy Spirit,
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. AMEN.
You know what... I have never read that if you don't believe you go to hell, but I have read that Jesus did go to hell. He broke the gates to set us free, so that we could be people of God. I read this-- I recite this every Sunday at church. I believe in the Father. I believe in the Son. And I believe in the Holy Spirit.
I have no love like the love "the Father has lavished upon me." There is no other religion where the God became diety out of love (not lust). There is no other religion where the God died to save his followers. And there is no religion where the God lives in his people. Father loved. Son died. Spirit lives.
