I got a text from a friend last night, wanting me to call him after 10:30...then he asked if I just wanted to go to Perkins @ 10:30...sure, why not
This friend is the one that tossed his fiance out on her but without her $3,000 engagement ring a few monthes back. Well he just wanted to get out of the house becuase she was supposed to be going out on a date with a guy from work (partly because none of her other lovers will leave their girlfriends for her), and he just didn't want to see her get all dolled up for some other guy.
I go to pick him up an she is being dropped of by one of her few remaining associets. I wait for about 8 mins, and he comes down. We go to Perkins and dicuss why she is the reason he is in his current stage of mental anguish.
Eventually we are joined my Lex and a lovely waiteress, Kate. We continue to talk into the wee hours of the morn (almost 2 am). At about 1 am, he had recieved a call from the cheater asking why he wasn't home yet.
We were just getting into my car and he was listening the second voicemail she left about 4 minutes prior. He laughed, and I said "I wanna hear, I wanna hear!" So he replaied the message on speakerphone.
the improtant part went as follows:
"Well Sam, its 2 in the morning and you're not home yet...and I know you can't be having THAT good a time with Maggie..."
So...am I fun? Do people have a good time with me?
I try not to HATE anyone...except hitler...but I fear the heartful dislike is growing at an exptenial rate...
