So they're going to do a movie remake of "Jesus Christ Superstar"? They had better be keeping the Roman soldiers all wearing the totally gay purple tank tops.

And also keep the disco-tastic "Superstar" number. I love that movie...it would be like remaking Xanadu. Wait....they did that on broadway already didn't they? :)

As someone who saw XANADU when it was first released in the theatres...

I'm probably the only one who wouldn't want a movie version of Wicked. I don't think a movie would do the show justice. Seeing Wicked live and on stage just gives me goosebumps (and I bawl my eyes out during "For Good")every time I see it. For me, I don't know if a movie would give the same feeling.
