New Years
Before I get in to new years eve.. I got a sms from a lovely melbournite... made me go all warm and fuzzy inside. So ta!
Ok so new years. Still trying to be coherent about it. Cruise on the harbour, and for someone who has lived in sydney most of her life, got amazingly excited to go under the harbour bridge in a boat! (picture clapping hands and going "look the bridge the bridge where going under it... its so big!")
Lots of food, and my what good food... lots of fireworks, some free alcohol, and then some more free alcohol. Bad music to dance to but danced anyway, and of course drunk some more free alcohol.
Found a pretty english boy, fireworks on the harbour bridge and a long train trip home. Oh and don't forget
all the streamers and blowing on those silly little tootle things (seemed like a good idea at the time and everyone else was!).
For some reason staying up till 6am also seemed like a good idea.
But a very nice night, pretty light shows and not a crowded spot on a blanket... For once! A New Years eve that was worth having! (Yes Yes i need some sleep).
