Simon Peg (you may remember him as that dude from "Spaced" or "Shaun of the Dead") has written an excellent blog post about how real zombies don't run.

I've watched Dead Set. The first two episodes were really good. I felt bad for telling Ten he was a loser for downloading a show about Big Brother, but then the zombies cut in, which he hadn't mentioned, and I was hooked. The only thing I didn't like about the show really, was that the zombies were waaaayyy too fast.
Zombies are slow and shambling.
But he has said it far better than I ever could, go read.....
