Charms essay.]
Defense Against the Dark Arts:
Draw yourself defending against something Dark Arts related.
The Killing Curse Protego, the Shield Charm.
((ooc: I hate mousing))
Extra Credit: If you create a clone of yourself with the spell Kagebunshinio, and that clone then gets sexually violated -- is it the same as being violated yourself? Discuss.
Creating a clone of myself with the Kagebunshinio spell is not a mutual extension of my physical or mental self. It is merely a reflection, literally and figuratively, of my current magical capability. (This is so because, if my magic is not strong enough, the clone would have little resemblance to my physical appearance, not to mention weaker magic and personality; the stronger the caster's magic, the more similarities.) Should the clone be sexually molested, it would not be the same as myself being violated. It is the same with any creation in which one invests time and thought; take, for example, a pet or child. If the pet or child were violated, I would be horrified and angry, but I would not feel violated myself. The pet or child is a one-sided extension of emotions (and biology, for the descendant). Similarly, the Kagebunshinio clone is a one-sided investment of magic, so molestation of the clone would not echo back to me.
