Yesterday -actually all the weekend- the hell broke over Buenos Aires -the city and the state. This picture was yesterday in our Rio de la Plata, yep that's our river. May tell you, we don't see this kind of phenomenon in our country... this is extremely new (in Spanish this is a "tromba", a whirlwind). Never before we had this, maybe little ones in the interior country. This is how weather is changing, an ordinary thing in the tropic but seems that we are changing into a tropic zone. Last winter snow... this summer very high temperatures... and WOW!
The city was under water, in my case (Tigre)-and thanks to the fact that the wind was not SE, we did avoid flood because the rain was drained to our 3 rivers, but if the wind was SE... . But, must tell you , that it rain so much and the wind was so strong, that my roof needs mending, at least in my bedroom and kitchen...one more thing to repair, some times having a house is a pain in the butt. How does the saying go?... When it rains, it pours....
