[Accidental Voice/Action]

[Well, Asad is a bit late in coming back from the draft. Just a little delay thanks to well, dying out there.

Anyone passing through the plaza may notice the odd sight of the redheaded man sleeping on a bench. And then a bit later he rolls over and falls off the bench.

As if he wasn't sore enough.]Aaaugh! ....What in the...? ...How did I get ( Read more... )

dying just sucks, totally missed marica's arrival, late return from battle

Hey, Asad, think you could hold on for a bit? Jale's looking for the only healer in their group before he comes to pick you up.

And by a bit he really means ten minutes.]

[Oh come on, he's fine. Just a bit sore and tried. It's better than he was, though he'll be glad to see Marica.

But don't worry, it would take him more than 10 minutes to get home, so you two will likely run into him then.]

[Pretty much running around with Jale like their heads are cut off. Asad, where are yooouuu? WAIT.]

Is that him?

Yeah, it is. Asad!

[Jogging over to your formerly dead self. The others weren't kidding about this whole resurrection thing, were they?]

So, post order Jale->Asad->Marica after this then? magecaptain March 10 2011, 02:17:29 UTC
[He hears that familiar voice and then looks over in the direction of hearing it.

Because really, he must be hearing things. Marica wasn't here. Did he hit his head falling off that bench he was left on earlier?

...

...

No, that is Marica!] Marica? When did you arrive?

[And such a shame Asad missed Marica arriving in a trash can of all places.

And if they are wondering, really he looks perfectly fine. Especially considering that not all that long ago he was kinda well, dead. No obvious injuries, his wings are in one piece, really he just looks tired is about the only sign that something is up.]

... Dang, sorry for the wait, I misread that order. Okay, got it!! realityanchor March 10 2011, 04:50:23 UTC
[Well... Asad looks better than she thought he would look, that's for sure. Still, she's going to run up to him and give him a 360 degree inspection.]

I only got here the other day, but more importantly -- are you all right?!

[Jale will just hang back for now, keeping an eye on the mage. Marica, make sure he's okay, okay?]

[Sheesh, you two are embarrassing him. Of course, not like he really wants to talk about what happened, it was pretty awful.]

I'm fine. A bit tired and sore from falling off the bench I was left on, but that's it. I'm sorry I wasn't here when you arrived, Marica. And that I worried you, Jale.

[And really he is. Seems dying patched him up pretty well and there is no obvious evidence of what he lost from dying either.

You don't need to apologize. I'd rather you be alive than a welcome wagon. [A light flashes around her for a moment. Here's a Luceti-stunted Healing Light.]

But really, you... There's nothing wrong? I thought...

Dying works differently here, remember? [Still, Jale's going to keep scrutinizing Asad. Just to be safe.]

[Well, hey, Healing Light definitely helps the soreness and all from falling off the bench thanks to where he was left. And seriously, all the scrutinizing isn't going to give away much of anything. The story is going to have to come from him directly.

However, it does look like this line of questioning is starting to upset him. Really, he's not liking remembering the fact that the Elite who killed him was able to turn his Mark of the Stars against him. The decision he had to make there was not one he wants to ever have to make again.]

I'm far better off than I was just a short time ago and the one who did it went down with me. Can we leave it at that for now? I'd like to get home.

[And no matter what you two do, he's going to start heading in the direction of house 58]

O-Oh, of course. [She shares a look with Jale -- is he really okay? -- before trotting to catch up.]

Anyway, I hope you don't mind if I stay with you two now. I'll be sure to do my share of the housework.

[Jale frowns slightly in response to Marica's glance -- I doubt it. -- and falls to the back of the group to keep an eye on them.]

I'm fine with it. Asad?

[And he's not really looking right at Marica. Sorry, he may be physically fine, but definitely won't be fine mentally and emotionally he's a mess right now and trying to keep it all inside like he normally does. So he appreciates the subject change, he really does.]

No, I don't mind a bit. I count you and Jale as friends and think it best we stick together while we're here.

[Asad seems a little... self-contained right now. Here's an attempt from Marica to fix this.]

Thank you. Oh, I know! I can even make something for us to eat tonight! I'll go all-out!

[CAUTION: TRAP AHEAD]

[Marica. Marica, Asad was just revived, don't kill him again.]

... But you just got here. Shouldn't you... get used to the place first?

[WARNING, negotiating skills not high enough, requires assistance from teammate.]
