While Sophie appreciated the sudden redecorating of her downstairs gallery with a fireplace, she would have liked it better if her microwave worked. Cold leftover Thai food was nowhere near as delicious without a microwave.

Still, the view outside the gallery was rather spectacular, and she had that fur coat from Moscow to keep her nicely warm. Plus brandy with her hot drinks.
