Repost: The Other Christmas Ghost
Resharing my March 2021 post from linguaphiles for the holidays. It was one of my more popular ones in the community. It also made LJ's top entries too. This one will drive you crazy because he deals in hypotheticals. You could call him the literal ghost of regret. No wonder Dickins did not make him a character though Scrooge must have felt that way after meeting the Future ghost.
