Similar to White Collar but not a crossover

There was a short series that was inspired by White Collar it appeared. Ezra was a conman that was involved in a Larabee team bust. Chris arrests Ezra and then later sees him with another team (maybe FBI?) working cases instead of doing time. The team he is with though is really mean to him. Chris and team take Ezra, but then they don't show him that he actually earns money, so he's been going hungry some days.
