Ezra the outsider; Ezra unjustly blamed
Been away for this page and the fandom for a while after the theft of my last computer 2 years ago. Now I'm trying to recover remembered stories I liked. I have two scenes in my head that I'd like to find again and any similar stories. The first is ATF; Ezra is one of three team members hurt on a case. When he wakes up in his hospital room there is no one there for him. He never realizes that the other are on their way in a slow or stuck elevator to check on him after seeing to the others. (Still, the others are first, their welfare before his.) The second scene is Old West. Nathan was snatched out of town by outlaws in need of medical help. There bringing him back to town when, from a distance, Ezra sees that the bad guys are about to shoot Nathan in the back. Ezra fires first and rushes to check on his team member. Nathan berates him for shooting and 'innocent' man. As usual, the gambler and con man's actions are suspect. leaving him the literal odd man out.
