Vin with Elf blood, Crossover with the Sentinel

Vin centric, somehow he hooks up with Jim Ellison who was his commanding officer in the Army. Jim helps Vin deal with a traumatic incident that happened when Vin was a prisoner during the war. It also comes out towards the end of the story that Vin is an Elf? and maybe has special powers or a special purpose in life.
