I have yet another fic stuck in my head that I can't find.
It was and ATF C/V slash fic. Vin and Chris had been together for awhile and Chris wanted Vin to move in with him but Vin had been reluctant. However, for an xmas (?) present Vin decided he would move in and gave up the lease to his apartment, but did not tell Chris as he wanted it to be a surprise. Chris's Brother (or other family member) decided to come for a visit and Chris hadn't told them about him and Vin so asked Vin to stay back at his apartment and hide his things so his brother wouldn't know, unknowingly making Vin homeless.
Eventually it was all sorted out and it ended happily ever after (yey).
On a similar note (and therefore could be the same fic) I remember a fic where again Chris is trying to hide his and Vin's relationship from someone and made Vin take all his stuff away and sleep in the guest room. The rest of the team were angry because finally Vin had a home and then Chris hurt him by basically denying his place in it.
Also, any reccs with similar themes of Vin being insecure of his place in Chris's life would be good.
