Little Britches where one boy is hurt
Looking for three or four Little Britches stories, two where Vin has to fire Chris's shotgun and dislocates his shoulder. He and Chris are coming back to Four Corners from business in some other town and A) Vin has to shoot a bear rampaging through their campsite, or B) a man enters their campsite and is friendly at first then attacks Chris and Vin manages to get the gun to save his life. The third story is ATF. Vin teases JD about being left behind for the bears on their upcoming camping trip. Nettie berates Vin and Buck for scaring the little boy. After car trouble forces them to borrow a friend's car, Buck (Chris had to work and couldn't go) has an accident and rolls the car. The rescue crew get Buck and Vin out but JD is nowhere to be found. Turns out little JD went was thrown out the open sunroof and was too afraid of the bears to answer those calling for him until he heard Chris's voice. The fourth scene I have in my head I think is a separate story, but could be part of this last one. Buck hits a deer which lodges half inside the car.
