OW 5 of the 7 attack Ez thinking he's killed JD
Grrrr!! I am so mad at myself. I read this just within the last few days and lost it just that quick. The team takes Vin to Toscosa in a last-ditch attempt to clear his name, leaving JD behind to be peacekeeper and Ezra because he pissed off Chris. Vin knew it was deliberate for just that reason. Months go by with no word and everyone assumes they didn't succeed and Vin is dead. Town life goes on and JD is made official sheriff with Ez as deputy. While making rounds one night, checking doors, Ezra is knocked out and wakes up tied to a chair in the sheriff's office, and angry Chris and Buck demanding to know where JD is. Buck stabs Ezra in the chest with his badge, hitting the heart. Chris is ready to shoot JD until Ezra calls out a warning before passing out.
