I was recently reading "To The Place Where I Belong" by Ronnie and it reminded me of a similar story where Vin is treated by a doctor he knew from before he joined the ATF team. In that story Chris realizes the doctor (a guy, unlike in the story by Ronnie) knows Vin because when he's reporting on Vin's injuries he uses Vin's first name instead of calling him Mr. Tanner. He later tells the team he met Vin at a fund raiser for a community center or something that he'd been dragged to and both he and Vin had felt out of place. The two had talked and he'd started volunteering as a result of his conversation with Vin. They'd lost touch though and he didn't know Vin was even back in Denver.

I skimmed through nearly all the Vin-centric stories at Blackraptor trying to find it with no luck. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
