New website!

I've spent weeks working on getting my brand-new website up and running, hoping I'd be able to get everything in a working order so that I could upload my wallpapers to a host that allows right-click (unlike Freewebs).  A recent bout of insomnia kept me awake at night, long enough to set it up well enough to feel confident about launching it.  So if you wanna take a look, here it is.

Some pimping...

Recently I stumbled upon a company called Traverse Global Web Hosting.  I saw a link on a site I cam e across looking for some information on html and css (but I forgot to bookmark the page - how typical of me!).  They have a program called Pay It Forward, where they offer one year of free hosting for anybody who decides to become a part of their program.  You put up a link to their site, and encourage others to join.  If they like the service well enough to be willing to pay for the continued hosting, you get an extra free year for each paying customer you refer.

I'm not going to close down my Freewebs site, even if it's just to have backup, and I'll continue updating it when I can, but so far I like what I see at Traverse [and it helps that the name sounds like Travis ;)].  I'll see how it goes and whether I'll be able to refer somebody.  Even if it doesn't work out, I'll still have my files which I could then relocate to another free hosting service.

So if you're looking for webspace, it might be worth looking into.

ETA: cross-posted at
clarion_news, where some people asked about the Contact button; it doesn't work yet, but I'm hoping to solve that issue soon.
