There is a huge sense of relief now that the settlement of my mother's house has gone through. Since her death it has been an ongoing stressful battle maintaining and then selling her property. Now it is all over and as I am one of three siblings, a third of the settlement is mine.
I'm happy to say that I'm now debt free for the first time in many years. Since I've paid off all my debts, I'm going to treat myself by buying this...
A Harley Fatboy Lo. I've wanted a Harley all my adult life and I'm guessing this may be the last time I'll have funds substantial enough to buy one new.
I'm also planning on taking the Bird and my youngest, Chanel, on a European holiday.
That will wipe out the rest of the inheritance, but the experience will be well worth it.
