I forgot it was talk like a pirate day! Hope everyone has some pirate-y fun!
I am a member of the Red Hat Society and have learned there are groups that specialize in being Red Hat Pirates!
Luckily I have a nice big red hat blank that can be turned into a tricorne, maybe with the purple marabou trim or the top-or something more unusual. I have purple fabric for a dress, but it would be awesome to find purple and red stripes!
I am always looking for places to wear period clothing in red and purple. Still working on something startling for an SCA event. And a few other crazy ideas, good for Ducal, Debardchery and Madness.
