Let's try again
The only thing on the previous to do list that I completed was catching up on the paper.
I think I will be skipping investiture and going to the Costumer's Guild meeting instead. Need to rejoin and reaquaint myselt with other members.
They have some upcoming events with good themes/excuses for making a couple of new outfits, including a Shakespeare picnic (burgundy skirt and bodice I have been planning w/fabric already on hand) and Petit Trianon cocktail party (little black 1780's dress) in Oakland that I should be able to manage.
There are many interesting A & S competitions this coming year, I hope to get a few items done. This last year was a total fail, although I still want to make some of the things anyway. I also pledged a couple of items for the "Sew for the Cure" sponsored by the Needleworkers Guild.
I have to finish the last little bits on 2 tunics, and make a new black linen or heavy cotton underskirt to go under the tunics that are too short. Then I should be all set for a while.
