more work
Today was intense. I was originally scheduled to work from 9 to 2, but then I had to cover for some guy till 4, and ended up staying until like 5:30. Normally I wouldn't have had to stay so late, but today they were switching the look from Summer '05 to Back to School. Seemed a little early to be switching from summer, seeing as how it still is summer, but I'm sure management doesn't really care about my opinion anyway. So what we had to do was basically redo the entire store, and we were each assigned a table, and I'll be damned if I didn't get the hardest table in the store. It was like three-tables-in-one, and much harder to do than any of the other tables b/c I had to search through vast amounts of jeans to get the right sizes, meanwhile people are putting pre-organized piles of shirts on their tables and actually getting off work on time. But it's all good, I'm gettin paid for it. Tomorrow I'm 'supposed' to work from 9 to 2, but who knows, maybe I'll end up staying late again. So if anybody wants to do anything, drop me a line, I'm usually open nights. Adios amigos.
