Huh...? This doesn't look like--
I thought this was the way to Doctor Shamal's...
Whassit? A computer or something? Or a phone-?
Or BOTH! Neat! I can't wait to show him-!
[ooc: Kid!Kudera is a sweetheart, unlike his older counterpart. He has 4% free, 5% gain from this event, so I am using 2% on his remaining childhood memories-- namely, that of

You look so different.

That's not me.
[But-- he'll introduce himself!]
I'm Hayato.

[And he bites his lip, because he wants to say that's a funny name, since it sounds like a fish-- but that would be rude.] Are you a guest?

Um.
[Well, he realizes this isn't his home, but can't quite figure out the logistics of how or why. Tugging at a shirt sleeve, he looks up.]
I'm lost, I think.
Are you one of Miss Gokudera's friends? [Since you knew her name, you seem trustworthy! And since you're small and named after fish, it's not that intimidating.]

Don't worry. Lots of people get lost here. It's sort of a magical place. Somehow this island draws people here and then they have trouble leaving. I don't exactly know Miss Gokudera personally, but if she's who I think she is then I owe her a favour.

So-- it's like in a story book. [He pauses, then decides he likes the sound of that, and smiled.] Okay! So if the island is magical, are there magical things on it, too? Like big snow monsters, or flying horses?
[And, as an afterthought,]
Oh, m'sorry.

Sorry? For what?

[And, excited, he reaches out, latching onto Tsuna's hand, and tugging.] I want to see, show me!
[And again, like an afterthought;] Oh, um, if you owe her a favour, you must not have heard; she's gone.
--Can we go see the horses now?
Reply
Sure, we can go see the horses. They call the ones with wings pegasi here. [He started walking in the direction of the stables, trying to remember what other things would be interesting to a kid.] A few people can fly, some with wings and some without. There are angels and demons, but the demons aren't as scary as they want you to think they are. I don't remember any sprites, but I did see a fairy once.
[He won't mention that Gokudera was the fairy.]

[But that's about all he really remembers on the subject, so, he just tried to keep up with Tsuna's stride, not letting go of his hand.] Pegasus comes from old Greek myths, you know. Except he was born from the water. Isn't that weird?
What colour is Pegasus? White?
Can you fly? Do the demons eat people?
Reply
[Hesitates on the 'can you fly' question. He could... but he didn't really want to be asked to demonstrate since he hasn't done it in over a year. Better just to ignore to question.] None of the demons I know eat people. They mostly just blow random things up then laugh maniacally.

And there are sea horses, but they're not as neat as flying horses. But they look like coral so they blend in with their surroundings and don't get eaten. [Behold: Children. A wealth of random information.]
They blow things up? Cool! Dr. Shamal is teaching me how to blow stuff up! But it's hard. And I can't do it with my mind or anything, like a demon.
So can you fly? [He sees what you did there. And is staring at you with huge, curious eyes.]
Reply
It sounds dangerous. You'd think a doctor would want you to avoid things that could hurt you. Why do you want to blow things up anyway?
I know someone who can fly. He has wings and everything.[Damn perceptive children.]
Reply
Yeah, it's dangerous! Cool, right? He has all sorts of cool things, like these bugs that make your face turn bumpy, and a gun like my dad's. I want to be like him when I grow up!
--Wow, really? Do people without wings fly too?
