Juno
Last night Sarah and I went to see Juno. I've heard buzz about it for a while from the american release and it's been nominated for four Oscars (screenplay, director, actress aaand er, i can't remember the fourth one).
Anyway, the hype was all justified. I loved it, and I'd say it was the best comedy i've seen for years. Just offbeat enough, excellent, witty screenplay and some great performances from Ellen Page (Juno) and the supporting cast. I also really enjoyed how it straddled the line between showing how irresponsible getting pregnant at 16 is and how it can affect a young person's life, but also how it doesn't make them idiots or less of a good person. It was really effective, and again, I loved it.
A must see!
