But let's get the cat stuff out of the way: Once again I had kitty-inedible chicken for lunch (teriyaki) and poor little Neville let out the saddest meow I've ever heard. A meow to pluck the heartstrings. No chicken for little Neville! He is the most pathetic, hard-done-by kitty in the world!
I don't think I've mentioned this, but I'm on a diet - a low-carb diet, to be precise. At my age, I can't scarf down the sweets like I did in days gone by. But as long as it's not too carby, I can eat all I want, so it's not a crash or starvation diet. I miss baked goods, but I have already lost ten pounds and my clothes fit better, so there is that inspiration. I do allow myself the occasional cheat day, and December will probably be a cheat month, ha ha. Meanwhile, I'm collecting "paleo nummies" and such like. And burning apple-pie-scented candles. And a divine "Italian Blood Orange" candle for the kitchen, which makes my kitchen smell like a citrus grove and repels kitties. (Cute, adorable little Neville has decided he wants to sleep on the STOVE. No, no no!!!)
food glorious food,
kitties,
