Fun day!
I got to meet h311ybean today for lunch! We met in the San Francisco Center food court* and then went off to the Mission. I like to take out-of-towners to the Mission because that's a part of SF that visitors don't get to see that often, it's the oldest part of SF and it's not touristy. So we went to Mission Dolores (the oldest building in SF!) for a bit of history, then up and down Valencia St. window-shopping, and then to Taqueria La Cumbre for the official city food aka burritos! It was great to meet her and we had a really good time.
h311ybean gave me a pair of very kikay earrings in Gryffindor colors from the Philippines. I love earrings and believe that one cannot have too many pairs.
Now I'm home and just took a little nap with the kitty girls, who were OUTRAGED that they were left home alone for a whole five hours. I am a mean, mean mommy. It's time for homework and listing my bottle of 13 for swap. And eating chocolate. Between the delicious freebies in emma2403's swap package and my bar of Endangered Species Chocolate in dark-chocolate-mint, I'm in chocolate heaven.
*There's a tea shop there that makes REALLY GOOD tea lattes. I had a vanilla-black-tea one. It was sooooo good I'm going to have to go back. :)
P.S. I am amused to note that when I move my cursor over my default userpic, a little box pops up that says, "This is you." It's funny because this is a pic of Captain Jack Sparrow. Hee.
