My cacti are suddenly popping out buds all over the place!
These are the moonflower's (Epiphyllum oxypetalum) tiny buds on the 23rd November
5th December.
I'm really excited about these - there are several buds, and they'll get a lot bigger before they bloom. These are the beauties that will bloom on one night only, emitting a beautiful perfume that attracts insects to pollinate them. It'll look spectacular if they all bloom on the same night (as long as I don't miss them, which I've done before!).
Another cactus has buds; the first one will be opening soon - stay tuned!
