Has anyone on the flist been to Savannah or Durham/Raleigh?
A. and I are planning to drive down to North Carolina to visit his uncle and would like to take advantage of the time spent there to do some sight-seeing and such. They live not far from Research Triangle, so I'm curious what there is to see in that area, and since we'd be just a few hours away from Savannah, I thought it would be worth it to plan a two-day jaunt there as well. I'm thinking a bed-and-breakfast type of place would be nice.
Any suggestions for placed to see and things to do in either area?
