Gotta catch 'em all...?
The great thing about Pokemon is that it appeals to the neurotic collector side of me and gives me a virtual outlet for being a total packrat.
I am hellbent on thoroughly completing my Pokedex, just to say I did it.

Some of these I have the pre-evolutions of, some I have post-evolutions of (those would be all the ones in italics). So for a lot of this it's a matter of actually putting in the work to evolve 'em out or breed 'em up. A HUGE chunk of these are 3rd-gen, because that's the only gen I haven't played (yet).
I've done phenomenally well with legendaries/event pokes thus far; I have -- with the sole exception of Regirock -- every single legendary from every single generation up through IV. I can get Regirock fairly easily in Platinum, though (I just haven't gotten off my sorry ass to do it). My quest now is to get 100% LEGIT versions of all the legendaries/event pokes I've got. I know a fair chunk of the ones I have are clones, but some of them I'm not sure as to their validity at all. (Clones are reasonably legit, hacks are not.) I r pleased they gave away Jirachi, Celebi, and Mew for realsies though; those three are bitch-ass hard to find otherwise.
It makes me sadface that apparently the badass bug legendary in gen V is going to be an event poke. I just hope that means we'll get it sooner rather than later because dammit, I want a bug with a laser on its head.
