Best. Conference Experience. Ever.

A more detailed post will follow, at some point when I'm not dying of the common cold, but I just wanted to make quick mention of a conference deserving of praise.
I just got back from Lavender Languages at American University, and I've got to say I've never had a better conference experience. The sessions were well-organized, the papers interesting, the evening diversions unexpected and fabulous, the people unbelievably friendly, the NP[plural] adjective[highly positive]...
Particular kudos for: Bill Leap, legendary conference organizer; Audrey Cooper, unbelievably gracious hostess; and Elijah Edelman and Lal Zimman, superfly organizers of the panel I was on.
Anyone whose work falls into the domain covered by LavLang (which is, like, half my frinds list) should absolutely submit next year. I'm already plotting what my next paper will be ... *smile*
