With the amount of interpreting I get suckered into doing, I find it worthwhile to point out from time to time that I am not, in fact, an interpreter.

I've seen this signed as SEX but with the palm orientation starting palm-back (for the beginning of the sign) transitioning to palm-forward at the end of the sign.

I love the way you transcribe your conversation--it really conveys the grammar of ASL.

I studied TESOL at AU--used to have plans to get a PhD in linguistics, but have decided to go with psychology instead. I still love to learn as much as I can about it.
