Hey there peachelton! Sorry, I know I haven't written in a long time. I have no excuse to offer other than the fact that I'm a total slug! Well anyway, I went for my Orientation. It was great, met alot of nice people. Roomed with a girl named Anna, she is from Korea(very sweet girl). And hooked up with Sheila from PA. They were both very bun-ratty(cool). Signed up for a job at the radio station that's on campus. Oh and in case I haven't written it down before(not sure I can't really remember), I'm majoring in History. I can just see the look of confusion on your faces, 'History?!?!? What the hell is she going to do with that?!?!' Well not too sure what I'm going to do with it just yet but I'm kinda looking into acrheology. I like ancient dead things(DEAD THINGS MIKEY! DEAD THINGS!!). Plus I love history. So I figure why not. Well I went for an interview for an internship at the radio station today and I'm starting training next week Tuesday at the 'Got Wood?' festival they are having on campus for all us Freshman. Hopefully I'll like the job(I think I will). Next I have to sign up for America Counts, so that I can get more money to save up for the summer when my sister and I want to go to Ireland for two weeks! Okay let's see....what else happened since I last wrote...Oh! I went to Fort Myers Beach to visit Jordie(a friend), Justin(her husband) and Gabriel(their adorable son). It was an interesting time. The most memorable moment was when Jordie forgot her keys and crawled through her window to get the stroller in the garage so that we could take Gabriel to the mall. Well apparently one of her neighbors saw her and my sister crawling through the window and thought that they were burglars. So she called the police which chased us down on the highway not even ten minutes later...they pulled their guns out and demanded to know who we were and where we were just coming from...after we explained everything, they let us go. That is the second time my sister and I had a run in with the Lee County police...and I've only been there twice! The first time was when we went over there for Jordie's baby shower. We were rear ended by a cop! Can you believe that?!?!?! My sister is now suing the city cause the accident caused her to get two bulging discs in her neck. So she is suing for like 90 grand. I'm hoping that she gets that or at least 60. Well back to last weekend. When my sister and I were leaving we stopped at the Cracker Barrel. The waiter hit on my sister! I mean usually we're flattered when that happens but he was like in his mid-thirties or something! It creeped the hell out of her. Rightly so I believe! So I've pretty much decided that the east coast of Florida is just a disturbing place to be...and I've sworn off all Cracker Barrel's on that side of the state. Plus if I'm in trouble over there I'm not calling the police. They may respond quickly, but knowing them they will point the damn gun at me!
