(no subject)
Ok so I've been a bit of a slasker lately with updating this...
A quick run down... Bristol was great as expected. FAKs wedding party was nice (and I'm glad someone appreciated my bow tie :) ). Bristol was the usual set of games, drinking, food and a very occasional bit of juggling. Both myself and Colin took part in the 1st bristol poker tournament, 22 players to start with. We both made it to the final table with me falling out in 6th, and Colin making it all the way to take the trophy. Congrats!!!
Since then life has been reasonably good to me, Manchester juggling festival was an equaly fun weekend staying up to silly hours watching films amoungst other things. Also went up north last weekend to join some astonites in a games weekend. Ignoring the agument of who would have won the Munchkin, I cleaned up against them all at poker :) and impressed even my self with the improvement in my play having watched some more poker on tv recently. I'm definatly starting to enjoy no limit texas holdem. That weekend was slightly marred by the train crash only a few miles away from where I live. Fak called up on saturday when it happened to make sure I was ok, so even if her first thought was hoping that she wouldn't have problems getting to work, she doesn't need to worry if she's a bad person, to me at least that call showed more than any first reaction does, most people wouldn't have called at all.
Work has been getting more relaxing recently with another member joining me and the tech director in the systems team at work which means I can re-focus on the stuff I should be doing and actualy do my job for a change!!!
Suffice to say in summary, I am alive and well, enjoying the parts of my life which are going well and not worrying too much about the other stuff.
