Remember the days
Okay, LJ, I know it's been a long, long while since I've used you, but since my favourite MMO is closing down, I thought you would be a good place for keeping my memories.
Trickster Online is the second MMO that I joined and the first that I loved. It has everything that I wanted in a game and I wish that the US servers would be around long enough for me to see more. I also wish it got a DS game like Ragnarok Online so I could play it at a time like this.
Trickster made me make a friend of mine play with me, and without her I wouldn't have made more friends in game. I had buddies that knew way too much about this game and made the lore equivalent to Dot Hack, I had a mentor who I followed around (and probably annoyed), and I even had a friend who I flirted with, so I'm sure everyone thought we were a thing.
This is the only online game that I've played that's made me regret not completing a lot of things. Because my computer, back then, was a 18GB harddrive, lag beast, it always had to go to my uncle when it started acting weird. I had to stop playing for almost 5 months and I think that's when a lot of my friends hit 3rd Job. ...Anyway, there was a huge level gap between me and them. Then some people became less active then others, and I'd only log on when there was a MyShop update.
That's why my main is forever stuck at Lv. 121 with me dreaming of her becoming a Duelist. The time lost, the updates, Season 2... Oh well.
Everything was fun and I'm glad that I got to be apart of some action.
I'm going to have to dedicate this week to writing about my characters/accounts, or something. A whole bunch of 'What if's and 'What could have been's. For now, I'm taking a gross amount of screenshots (and doing some leveling, if their EXP is close).
