My December (in February)
My Time of the Year…
I’m been so busy lately I’ve nearly forgotten that it is my birthday. I had to same ritual of nothing, nothing, nothing, and depression. Juts like every year. I somehow, against all common sense, hope that this year, it would be different. That it wouldn’t be “My December” in February.
Anyway, right now, I am the lead singer in “The Chinese Mafia”, a band here at school. I’ve never thought I had anything close a halfway decent voice. I’m glad I took a magnificent women’s advice and just jumped right in to it. Music is way more fun and way more work than I realized. Were trying to perfect “My December” by Linkin Park so that we may perform it at the school’s talent show. Needless to say, I’m scared to death when that day comes.
I cannot believe I’m 17… 17 years of things I wish I could forget… 17 years of wishing I could reset life… 17 years of sorrow… 17 years of morning…
