Not too much going on today thus far. I'm just sitting here at work surfing the web. The usualy places...art sites, goth, etc. Melodie and Trey came over yesterday and kept me company. We played RPG's most of the day and ate some finger foods. I tell ya, I don't know what it is about the two of them but they seem to free the inner "geek" in me. Anyone who know's me can tell ya that I'm a comicbook/sci-fi nerd but I keep that pretty well supressed. There's no real reason why but I just don't show that side of me much. Perhaps it's the company...guess it's kinda nice to hang with people who enjoy some of the things you do? My favorite game was "Warlords." I'm going to have to find it at one of the local comic shops. It's a really cool Steve Jackson game. He's the one who is responsible for the "Chez" geek games. After a few rounds of "Warlords" we decided to change it up a bit. They had another game but no directions so we put that away. Around this time Amy came home from work and we all decided to go out for some Mexican! We went to shop just up the street, figured we give it a try. It was authentic Mexican food. They kinda complained about the service but I never really had any high expectations as far as that was concerned. If we had been at a "Chili's" or "Rio Bravo" I would've had a higher expectation but this was the type of place where the Mexicans came to eat and hang out. The food was delicious and plentyful! I couldn't belive the size of the portions. Trey ordered a 3 taco plate...and damn! He could barely get to the taco shells because of all the meat on top of them. The salsa that came with it was HOT!!! Trey and I love hot stuff so the salsa was perfect for us. Melodie tried some of it but thought it was too hot...she's such a girl. (smooches) After we ate ourselves stupid we migrated back to my house for one more game. We put the boys to bed and Trey and Melodie were waiting for us downstairs eager to play, "Chez Goth." I loved the game despite having a little trouble following the rules. It's not that it's complicated, it just takes a few games to get it down. Trey one after about an hour or so of play so we decided to call it a night. They left around 10pm and Amy and I went upstairs to turn in for the evening. I still had to burn a cd before I went to bed so I quickly hopped in front of the Mac and let it do it's thing. We laid on the bed and watched a few episodes of "The Deadliest Catch" and then went to sleep.
