Whew, nasty storms last night. Our house is fine, but our neighbor across the street had a huge pine tree snap at the base of the trunk, take out a corner of their garage, and knock down the power lines going to their house. The power was out across the street, but ours was fine. Our building at work is running on generator power (boo! hiss!) and the buildings around us are also out.

Update: I work on the wrong floor. 1-3 floors have power in our building, but 4-5 do not. I of course work on the 3rd floor. Bummer. :)
