Krissy and I have decided we have to give up one of our cats. No matter what we try, we can't get Belle to stop peeing on the carpet or furniture. She probably just wants more attention, but with the baby, 2 other cats, and the dog, we just can't manage it. And she's been fighting with Petey a lot lately too, crashing into things. So we're going to ask around for a couple days to see if anybody wants a cat, but in the likely event we can't find anybody who wants a cat that pees on the floor, sofa, and bed, I'm taking her to the APA on Friday.
Related note: All of the no-kill shelters I've found information on say they don't take animals from owners, only from other shelters. You'd think they'd find a way to cut out the middle man.
