NY governor introduces gay marriage law
"I'm introducing a bill to bring marriage equality to the state of New York," Paterson said in an announcement carried live on television. "We have an honor and a duty to make sure that equality exists for everyone," he said.
This is extremely timely as I will be going to Buffalo this weekend to support my Aunt at the Buffalo Brunch.
"[Lynn] and her beloved Cathy want to get married officially - legally - in New York State. This year marks their 10th anniversary and Lynn and Cathy want to celebrate their commitment with a real wedding."
I can't say what it means to me and my family if this law passes this year.
