*whew*!
Hey, all. A quick catch-up:
1) I am done, done, done with Fair Isaac and I couldn't be happier about it! My last day was Friday, June 27th. However, if any of you ever quit in CA, quit near the beginning of the month instead of near the end to hold onto your health benefits longer.
2) I had to quit near the end of the June because about 25 of my relatives were arriving for a family reunion on the 29th, some of whom stayed for a full two weeks, and I didn't want to come back to work after two weeks of hosting a big, fun, but tiring family reunion.
3) SF / Berkeley is a great place to reune, as it turns out. The family had a great time (or so they keep saying, anyway...), and we managed to keep folks of all ages (from 85 years to 2.5 months) entertained and happy. The fires were unfortunate as the air wasn't nearly as clear as it usually is, but the weather was quite nice. A big list of fun things we did will be forthcoming.
4) These last few days have been full of catching-up with errands. Soon I hope to be looking into schools more seriously, and I have a surprising amount of traveling lined up, but I'm looking forward to having lots of time for myself in the coming month, including spending time with / on friends and loved ones. Also, I'll be spending a lot more time on cooking, exercising, and art.
Right now, I'm working on a math problem, have some mail to send off, and am looking for a beginner hand balancing kit that is hopefully not too expensive. I also have some photos to turn into icons, and other photos to stitch together for my family.
