I love my jobs. At College Park, two kids were playing with each other, a boy and a girl. They each had a water cannon and were squirting each other enthusiastically. Suddenly, the boy started telling the girl, "MARINATOR! YOU MURDERATERING GIRL!" The girl didn't say anything, but she was giving better than she was getting. :)
Also, the swim camps at Butler are pretty freaking awesome. I think it's funny how I startled my boss and my coworkers. I'm loud, but I'm not a person that generally raises my voice or gets angry. I'll get frustrated and *say* I'm angry, but not really. But when these kids started breaking the rules, I realized that a soft, stern voice would not stick--so I started being harsh and commanding. The kids were really good (and really scared of me), but Terese (my boss) and Betsy (my coworker) were floored by my display. I think it's funny how people are shocked when they see different sides of you; just because I'm nice doesn't make me a pushover. It means that I compromise more, but I won't let a bunch of kids walk all over me.
An major update on Paul and Pride later! :)
